It seems like link up rumours of Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actor Mahira Khan (who made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the movie Raees) are still haunting the latter who took to Instagram to shut all gossip-mongers when she posted:
The rumours mills started buzzing when a backstage video from the Global Teacher Prize Ceremony, Dubai, went viral. In the video shot at the event, Mahira Khan could be seen in a gorgeous red dress pleading before Ranbir Kapoor. However, the video is mute and one can just guess what was the conversation between the duo.
A while back in an interview when asked the names of actresses whom Ranbir finds pretty, he recounted Mahira Khan’s name. Likewise, when asked about the stars in Bollywood, Mahira Khan stated that in the younger lot, she admires Ranbir Kapoor who happens to be a brilliant actor. However, a source close to Mahira stated that she is miffed with these rumours and just because they met at an event and are in touch via some mutual friends doesn’t imply that they’re dating.
Ranbir Kapoor too during his AIB Podcast earlier this month clarified that for the first time, he’s single and it’s amazing. While putting all the rumours to rest, the single mother - Mahira Khan uploaded the above pic and captioned it “For mostly everything” and the picture tells what she is referring to in a two-liner –
“FIRST OF ALL, NO - SECOND OF ALL, NO”.
