Manisha Rani has finally revealed why she unfollowed Elvish Yadav on the social media platform Instagram. On Saturday, the Jhalakk Dikhhla Jaa 11 winner issued a video statement and opened up about her fight with Elvish. Manisha revealed that the dispute between the two started over a cover photo of a collaborative post. She claimed that even though Elvish was supposed to put one of his pictures with her, he disregarded it and rather published a post featuring him and Akshay Kumar.
“I did not like it when I saw the photo because the collaboration was between Elvish and me. That video was visible on both of our profiles. When it is on my profile, my photo should have been there too,” Manisha said.
Manisha Rani argued that despite repeated requests from her team, Elvish refused to change the picture. “Elvish took the phone and said, ‘What is the problem? The cover photo will not be changed. Tell Manisha that whenever she collaborates next, she can put her family picture then’,” she added.
Manisha called Elvish’s behaviour “egoistic” and revealed that she unfollowed the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner on Instagram because it was about her “self-respect”. She argued that it was “common sense” to use a picture featuring her and added that she decided to end ‘Elvisha’ fandom as they do not share a friendly bond any longer.
“Jo banda mere saath ek cover photo nahi daal sakta hai, jab uska ego hai toh mera bhi self respect hai,” she said.
Manisha Rani and Elvish Yadav met inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. In the show, their bond was widely enjoyed by all. Elvish emerged as the winner of the show. After Bigg Boss, Manisha participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and emerged as its winner. After her recent JDJ victory, Abhishek Malhan aka Fukraa Insaan congratulated her but Elvish did not reach out to her.
