Navya Naveli Nanda is the granddaughter of Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan. She takes after her mother, Shweta Bachchan, and doesn’t want to become an actress. Navya is an entrepreneur, and a podcast host and also works for her father’s business. While her equation with her mother and grandmother is always in the limelight due to her podcast, her dynamic with her father, Nikhil Nanda, remains private. Now, Navya has dropped a rare photo with her father.
Navya recently visited a site in Madhya Pradesh with her father to look over their agriculture-related family business. In the photo, she could be seen smiling as she walked next to Nikhil amid several tractors. Check out the post here:

Meanwhile, the latest episode of Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast, What The Hell Navya, just dropped and we saw Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and Navya talk about friendships. During the episode, Shweta Bachchan said that parents cannot be friends with their children. However, Jaya and Navya disagreed. This exchange has now gone viral across social media.
Shweta Bachchan said, “I don’t understand this ‘parents are friends’ aspect that everyone is aspiring to these days. My children are my children and my friends are my friends. I will not talk to my children about certain things I talk to my friends about. I don’t know why everyone likes to say, ‘My daughter or son is my best friend.’”
Jaya Bachchan reacted to this and said, “It’s not like that, Shweta. But why can’t your children be your friends? After a certain age, your children can be your friends.” Shweta replied, “No, mama. There’s always that thing, you’re always a parent. You don’t have that… you know… I think if they gave me a piece of their mind, I may listen to it. I may be resentful to it because I’ll be like ‘You are my child. What do you know?’” Navya Nanda then said that people can be friends with their family members. While Shweta disagreed, Jaya Bachchan agreed.
