Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and other Ambani family members were seen tearing up as an emotional Radhika Merchant walked down the aisle to stand with Anant Ambani. In a video shared by Karan Johar on Instagram, Radhika was seen fighting back tears as she performed on the lines of Shava Shava from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum at the couple’s pre-wedding bash over the weekend. Anant waited for her with bated breath while Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani watched the adorable moment play out. The three-day long festivities were made special with the presence of renowned Bollywood faces, International pop icons and more. Now Radhika Merchant expressed that she feels blessed with how the pre-wedding bash turned out to be.
As quoted by Vogue US, Radhika Merchant said, “I recognize that this is a privilege few people experience, and I truly feel blessed. I hope that our wedding will bring global attention to Vantara, the largest animal rehabilitation center in the world, a project that my husband and I hold very close in our hearts.”
The pre-wedding festivities that reportedly cost Rs 1250 was meticulously planned and it even incorporated Vantara’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, which is a huge part of Anant and Radhika’s life, “We went to great lengths to accommodate our 1,500 guests, complete with an audio-guide system to ensure that everyone could connect with the animals that have been given a new lease on life here,” she added.
In a clip that was shared by Karan Johar, as Radhika Merchant walked up to Anant, Mukesh Ambani couldn’t hold back his tears and broke down. Nita Ambani, who was also visibly emotional, consoled him. Once Radhika was on stage, Anant gave her a warm hug and even kissed her forehead as she held him close. Karan shared the moment video on his Instagram account and wished the couple of their impending wedding.

Anant and Radhika held a three-day pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar on March 1, 2 and 3. Several other Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur were a part of the bash. Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also attending the mega event.
