On Thursday night, the bride-to-be was snapped by the paparazzi as she visited Jackky’s house for a dhol night. In a video that surfaced on social media, Rakul was seen arriving at Jackky’s house with her family.
Reportedly, Rakul Preet Singh will tie the knot with Jackky Bhagnani on February 21 in Goa in an intimate ceremony which will only be attended by their family members and close friends. The couple had originally planned a destination wedding overseas but they made a last-minute decision to align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for families to host their wedding festivities within India.
Later, it was also revealed that Goa also holds a “special place in their hearts.” “That’s where it all started and their romance flourished. Choosing Goa is a sentimental decision for them and the wedding is going to be absolutely serene,” a source cited by Pinkvilla said.
Meanwhile, amid her wedding festivities, Rakul Preet Singh recently opened up about the importance of having a “right partner”. The actress was speaking to Cosmopolitan India when she explained that “ambitious” women should take their time to find a partner who can not only understand them but is also ready to share responsibilities.
“The way of the world is that the woman is the one who has to move out of her house or change her ways but there’s nothing we can do about it because it’s just the way it is. As women, we need to embrace it beautifully and think of it as a power. The more we will keep our mindset positive the easier it will be to navigate,” Rakul Preet Singh said.
“It is important to have the right partner. I would just say that all those women who are ambitious should be smart enough to take their time and find a partner who understands them and their dreams so that they can share responsibilities. Of course, men and women can have it all, and women can have a little more,” the actress added.
