Popular actor Arjun Sarja is set to return to the Malayalam film industry with the film Virunnu. It is directed by Aadupuliyattam fame director Kannan Thamarakkulam. Apart from Arjun Sarja, the film stars Nikki Galrani, Mukesh, Baiju Santhosh and Asha Sarath in the prominent roles.
The makers have announced that the film is slated to release in theatres worldwide on August 23. The film is touted to be an action thriller as per the teaser of the film. Virunnu will be released in Malayalam and Tamil. The actor was last seen in the Tamil film Leo. It was one of the highest-grossing films in India. It also starred Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role and was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
