Rihanna Shares Adorable Video Of Son RZA Trying To Escape His Playpen: ‘Being A Boy Mom Is An Olympic Sport’
Rihanna recently shared an adorable video of her eldest son, RZA, on Instagram, showing his relentless efforts to escape his playpen.

Rihanna gave her followers a glimpse of a playful moment with her eldest son, RZA, through an entertaining video posted on Instagram. The singer, who shares the two-year-old with her partner A$AP Rocky, captured RZA’s funny and determined efforts as he tried to escape his playpen. Dressed in yellow and white striped pyjamas, the toddler was seen working hard to retrieve his water bottle, which was placed just out of reach.

After a bit of struggle, he eventually succeeded in climbing out and quickly hopped onto the couch beside the playpen. What follows is a hilarious moment as RZA rolls across the couch, amusingly moving from one end to the other until he finally reaches the water bottle, which is placed on the floor nearby.

RZA’s fun moments became even more entertaining after Rihanna added the ‘Mission Impossible’ soundtrack to the video. She captioned it, “Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport.”

Rihanna’s fans couldn’t resist reacting on the adorable video, flooding the comments section with hilarious reactions to RZA’s escape antics.

One fan joked, “He is trying to escape so he can release that album his mom is hiding under the bed.”

Another added, “Thank you Robyn for giving us these special and personal moments with NAVY.”

Meanwhile, someone else remarked, “I wanted to see him climb back with the drink in hand.”

One follower noted, “Girl!!! These Gen Alpha kids are Olympic sports, must be something in the food these days,” while a user quipped, “No mission is impossible. Clearly. Lol.”

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky became parents to their first child, RZA, on May 13, 2022, and later welcomed their second son, Riot, in August 2023. In a recent interview with Billboard, A$AP Rocky talked about wanting his sons, RZA and Riot, to have normal childhoods despite their famous parents. He responded to rumours that the kids wouldn’t be able to grow up in Harlem, the neighbourhood where Rocky grew up, and dismissed those claims.

During the interview, Rocky proudly showed off a video of RZA playing in SoHo. “Man, look at this little guy, this is my son right here. They’re still human. They’re human beings,” he said while sharing the clip.

In the same interview, Rocky also spoke about how he and Rihanna have mastered co-parenting, despite their demanding schedules. “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules. [The relationship] is going great. I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility,” he said.
