The Great Indian Kapil Show is all set to return to Netflix with its second season on September 21. Starring comedians Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Sunil Grover, Rajiv Thakur and Kiku Sharda, the new season is going to see a slew of and Bollywood and Sports personalities hitting the couch. The promising lineup includes Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Karan Johar, Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Arshdeep Singh among others.
Recently, the makers shared a new promo for Season 2, announcing the premiere date and the exciting guest lineup. In one of the clips featuring the Devara cast, Kapil asks Saif Ali Khan whether his elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan listens to him to which Saif gave a hilarious answer that will leave you in splits.
“Pichle dino Aamir Khan humare show pe aaye the. Wo kehte hain ki mere khud ke bachche meri sunte nahi hai. Toh Ibrahim bhi abhi filmon mein I think aa rahe hain, aapki sunte hain who? (Aamir Khan attended our show last season. He stated that his own children do not listen to him. So, Ibrahim is also coming to the movies now. Does he listen to you?),” Kapil asked.
The Race actor replied, “I think unhe Aamir ki sunni chahiye (I think he should listen to Aamir),” leaving the audience and the other cast members laughing out loud.
Saif Ali Khan will join The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 to promote his upcoming action thriller film Devara: Part 1 along with his co-actors Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
Taking to Instagram, Netflix dropped the teaser of the upcoming season and wrote in the caption, “When your favourite guests meet Kapil & gang, Shanivaar ka Funnyvaar banna pakka hai Watch #TheGreatIndianKapilShow Season 2 from 21 September, raat 8 baje, sirf Netflix par!”

The first season of the show was aired in March this year and featured celebs such as Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Kaushal, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, Imtiaz Ali, Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala among others.
