Director Nagashekar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film, Sanju Weds Geetha 2. It is the sequel to Sanju Weds Geetha, which was released in 2011. The film stars Srinagar Kitty and Rachita Ram in lead roles. It also features actors like Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila. Nagashekar has completed the shooting in ten different locations including Switzerland, where the entire film was shot in three phases. The fourth phase of shooting is currently going at Kunigal Stud farm, Karnataka. The film has feel-good music. Its song Maleyanthe Nee Baa has grabbed attention. This song was shot at Kunigal Stud farm. In this song, Rachita Ram, Rangayana Raghu, Srinagar Kitty and Sampath are featured. The song’s shoot has cost the team around Rs 45 to 50 lakh, according to reports.
The shooting of Sanju Weds Geetha 2 is almost completed. The dubbing work for the film has also started. This work started in Sadhu Kokila’s studio. So, the shooting on one side and the dubbing on the other side are happening simultaneously. It can be said that there is a possibility that the film will hit the theatres this year.
