Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra visited the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in South Mumbai on Tuesday. The actress and her husband paid a visit to the pandal just two days after she bid adieu to the idol she brought home. In a video shared on Instagram, Shilpa was seen wearing a saree and walking barefoot to meet to the pandal. Raj was also seen in traditional clothes and joined her barefooted.
They were joined by Shilpa’s mother as well. The video also revealed that Raj and Shilpa were taking a massive modak to offer to the diety. The trio was seen in their best spirits. Check out the video below:
It is no secret that Shilpa Shetty is a big believer of Lord Ganesh. Every year, the actress brings an idol home and performs grand pujas on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. This year too, she had brought home a beautiful idol and celebrated the festival.
On the day of visarjan, Shilpa was seen dancing her heart out. Accompanied by her daughter Samisha, Raj, sister Shamita Shetty, and mother, Shilpa bid farewell to the idol. Both Shilpa and her daughter twinned in mustard yellow floral shararas and choli sets.
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty last appeared in Indian Police Force opposite Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Sharad Kelkar and others. Helmed by Rohit Shetty, the show marked the first series in Rohit’s cop universe. Next up for her is the Kannada movie, KD – The Devil.
Meanwhile, beside Shilpa Shetty, several other stars also visited the Lalbaug Pandal. On Tuesday, Varun Dhawan was seen visiting the pandal with director Atlee. Also seen at the venue were Sunny Leone and her husband, Daniel Webber.
