Sidharth Shukla Quits Dil Se Dil Tak; Takes a Dig at the Show's Producer with This Tweet

Dil Se Dil Tak star Sidharth Shukla has decided to leave the Colors show due to creative differences with the producer. The actor, who has been playing the male lead opposite Rashmi Desai and Jasmin Bhasin on the daily soap for almost a year now, revealed that he was "not happy with the way his character was shaping up".

"The track didn't pan out as I was promised. I had a meeting with the producer and we decided to part ways mutually," Sidharth was quoted as saying by BT.

Sidharth also took to Twitter to hint at his departure from the show and wrote: "Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer helps you to grow... Why try to fit in when you are born to stand out..."

Meanwhile, producer Sumeet Mittal confirmed to BT that Naagin 2 star Rohan Gandotra would be replacing Sidharth on the show.

"Sidharth and we had creative differences and hence, we decided to go our separate ways on a good note," Mittal said.
