Our favourite teenage Spidey superhero is back with Spiderman: Homecoming and this time it's his home Universe where he will be seen spinning webs and defeating villains. Marvel Cinematic Universe is all set to welcome the young superhero with his own spin-off after he made his debut in Captain America: Civil War.
By the looks, posters and trailer, Spiderman: Homecoming looks like a typical sassy film made for the teenage fan base of the hero, as well as give a newer look to morbid McGuire and somewhat chirp Garfield's character.
The plot starts where the Civil War ended, with now Iron Man to mentor him and Stark Industry to fund his suit, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) had to go out in full swag. Plus the present day setup of the film makes Spiderman more technologically advanced and even smarter than his predecessors.
Directed by Jon Watts, the tech-savvy, more sassy version of red spider-suit hero has a lot riding on it. Apart from carrying the expectations of his predecessors, the film also has to find its own niche in crowded and popular Avengers' Universe.
Will the film be able to prove itself as the perfect Homecoming for young Spiderman? Will it be able to bring it the swag in an otherwise tragic world of orphaned Peter? Will Tom Holland be able to fill in the shoes of Tobey Maguire? Sameeksha from News18 is inside the theatre to find out.
