Meghna Gulzar directorial venture ‘Talvar’ is based on the sensational murder case that took place in Noida in 2008 where a 14-year old Aarushi Talwar and her family’s domestic help Hemraj were murdered. The case was much talked about and the media sensationalized making it one of the most watched case in the recent history.
A film called ‘Rahasya’ has already been made based on the case and ‘Talvar’ whose screenplay Vishal Bhardwaj has written tries to explore all the angles of the case. While in reality, Aarushi’s parents have been accused and serving jail term, the film will try to explore the other possible angles of the film.
With an impressive star cast consisting of Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan Khan and Neeraj Kabi, the film promises to be a gritty drama. Will the film provide a true picture?
