Zendaya and Tom Holland, the couple who first crossed paths on the set of the 2017 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Homecoming, continue to prove that love is in the air. Dismissing any breakup rumours, the pair showcased their relationship’s strength at the Dune 2 premiere. Tom, playing the role of the perfect boyfriend, cheered for Zendaya from far, where the actress turned heads in two stunning looks, including a futuristic suit of armour on the red carpet. Although the actor was not captured entering the venue with Zendaya, Tom joined the actress for the after-party. Later, fans and paparazzi spotted the couple quietly leaving hand in hand, with Tom leading the way and ensuring the safety of his girlfriend amid enthusiastic admirers. Tom’s polite apologies to fans asking for autographs.
In a candid video making rounds on the internet, Tom showed his gentlemanly behaviour by holding Zendaya by the waist as they entered their waiting car after the Dune 2 premiere. For the night, the actress dazzled in a black velvet floor-length gown complemented by vintage jewellery from Bulgari, while Tom opted for a casual all-black ensemble with a vest over a t-shirt and pants. This was the first time that the couple had been seen together publicly since Tom spoke about their breakup rumours the previous month.

For those not aware, rumours about the breakup between Tom Holland and Zendaya started circulating online when the Euphoria actress unfollowed everyone, including Tom, on Instagram. However, the Spider-Man star addressed these speculations while being approached by TMZ in Los Angeles last month. Firmly denying any split, the young actor stated, “No, no, no, absolutely not. I don’t know what’s going.”
Most recently, during the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, Tom walked the red carpet alone but that didn’t stop him from expressing his love for Zendaya. In a conversation with Extra TV, the actor said, “Zendaya and I, every now and then watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again. I love those movies and I love savouring those moments so I try not to watch them as often as I would because it is so special and it’s such a luxury like such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth and watch those movies.”
While Zendaya will be seen in Dune 2 scheduled to release on March 2, Tom Holland is gearing up for Spider-Man 4.
