Varun Dhawan Is All Smiles As He Visits Wife Natasha and Newborn Daughter In Hospital | Watch

Varun Dhawan was snapped by the paparazzi outside a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday, where his wife Natasha Dalal and their newborn daughter are currently admitted. In a video that surfaced on social media, the Bhediya actor was seen entering the hospital when he greeted the paparazzi with folded hands. Varun thanked shutterbugs for extending wishes and said, “Very good” when asked about his baby girl’s health.

Varun and Natasha became proud parents to a baby girl on June 4 this year. The actor took to his social media handle to welcome his daughter with a heartfelt post. The video featured an illustration of Varun’s pet dog Joey who was seen holding a placard that read ‘Welcome Lil sis’. The video post also read, “Baby Dhawan, Proud parents Natasha and Varun, Proud Family – Dalals and Dhawans.” Expressing his joy in the caption, Varun added, “Our Baby Girl Is Here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby.”

Varun and Natasha, who got married in January 2021, announced their pregnancy in February this year. Back then, the Bhedia actor shared an aesthetic monochrome picture from their living room. It featured Varun kneeling on his knees, planting a kiss on Natasha’s baby bump. The actor also held her hands. The snap also featured their pet dog comfortably seated on the sofa, with his gaze fixated on the camera. Varun Dhawan captioned the post, “We are pregnant Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrength.”

Later, several of Varun’s industry colleagues including Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Karan Johar, Anushka Sharma and Rakul Preet Singh congratulated the couple.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of Citadel with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Raj and DK, it is the Indian adaptation of the International series of the same name which was created by the director duo, the Russo Brothers. Earlier this year, Prime Video India dropped a trailer at a grand event when they also released a short clip as part of a montage of all the titles. In the clip, Varun and Samantha were seen engaging in intense action sequences. In one scene, Samantha was seen holding two pistols, preparing for combat with two opponents. She also appeared in a fight sequence alongside Varun. Additionally, there was a brief glimpse of Kay Kay Menon.

Besides this, Varun also has Baby John in his pipeline. The high-octane action entertainer is being helmed by A. Kaleeswaran and also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. The film is set to release on May 31, 2024.
