Vicky Kaushal was immensely praised for his performance in Sam Bahadur. He is currently prepping for his next film Chava, which is a period drama and will have Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. Well, he has been following a strict diet for months and recently ate his cheat meal. He shared the same on his social handle. Vicky Kaushal can be seen super excited to have street-style pani puri.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Vicky shared a video in which he is seen excited to eat his favourite pani puri. He is smiling and having the fast food. He wrote in the caption, “Cheat meal after months! Had to be pani puri. Ro dunga main aaj. Love you @akshayarora03.” Reacting to the same, Akshay Arora praised Vicky and said, “Fruits of your labour and discipline. Hardest working human.” Vicky Kaushal in an interview with ANI, had said, “Earlier, only I loved white butter and parathas and now Katrina also loves it too. Earlier, I did not understand pancakes, but now I like pancakes. So, that’s what has happened.”

Talking about Chava, it is directed by filmmaker Laxman Utekar, known for movies like Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi (2021), Luka Chuppi (2019) and more. Utekar and Vicky Kaushal will work together once again after their previous venture, the comedy romance Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).
The upcoming film, Chhava, is reported to be a period drama, where Kaushal will share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna. According to sources, Kaushal is set to portray the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha Empire’s founder, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is expected to delve into Sambhaji Maharaj’s bravery, sacrifice, and wartime strategies while incorporating an emotional love story between him and his wife.
Apart from this, Vicky Kaushal also has Bad Newz with Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. Sharing the announcement on his Instagram handle, Karan wrote, “Get ready for the most entertaining hungama – a hilarious once in a billion situation awaits…a comedy inspired by true events!! #BadNewz IN CINEMAS 19th July 2024!”
Last year, several photos of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri went viral when they were shooting in Croatia. In the pictures, Vicky Kaushal was seen holding Triptii close as they shoot for the song. In one of the photos, the actor was also seen lifting the Animal star in his arms. The upcoming entertainer is being helmed by Bandish Bandits fame director Anand Tiwari.
