Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri are sharing the screen space for the first time in the film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The comedy-drama is all set to hit theatres on October 11. Ahead of the release of his “97% parivarik and 3% maha parivarik” film, the Stree 2 actor took to his Instagram account to remind his fans to watch it in the theatres. He once again posted the trailer of the Raaj Shaandilyaa film.
On Thursday, Rajkummar shared the post with the caption, “Taiyar ho Jaiye Kal aa raha hai. #VickyVidyaKaWohWalaVideo. Parivaar ke sath, Doston ke sath jakar dekho, kal se cinema gharon mein. Releasing tomorrow in Cinemas.” The trailer revealed that Rajkummar and Triptii’s story, set in 1997, will revolve around a CD containing an intimate video of the couple, which leads to chaos in their small town.

Soon after Rajkummar’s post, his fans flooded the comment section, sharing their excitement about the film’s release tomorrow. One fan wrote, “Another 100cr club movie again.” A second one said, “Ye tho 100 % parivarik lag rahi hai dekh na tho padega.”
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video comes after Rajkummar Rao received immense praise for his role in Stree 2. The Amar Kaushik-directed film also became one of the highest-grossing Indian films. During an interview with India Today, the actor opened up about the fame and love he has been getting since the release of his supernatural horror comedy. He said, “As an actor, for me, the most important thing is that the film has to be good. I should be part of films that are cherished and loved by the people who watch it. Whether those people watching my films are two or two lakh, they eventually have to enjoy watching my film and that’s what ultimately matters to me, as I should be proud of the film.”
He continued, “What certainly can’t be matched is the feeling of a good film doing exceptionally well at the box office, too. This feeling is the most gratifying because, as an actor, you are aware that you have delivered a good performance. The film has turned out to be amazing and now when it’s open for the audiences, they have really enjoyed it too – this feeling then is surreal.”
Rajkummar Rao made his debut in the film industry in 2010 with the movie Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. Throughout his career, he has showcased his acting prowess by taking on a variety of roles. From portraying a visually impaired character to exploring diverse roles in films like Queen, Ludo, Trapped and Aligarh, he has unquestionably demonstrated his versatility.
