Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who will make his Bollywood debut with the pan-Indian production Liger, gave an update on the film. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film also stars Ananya Panday in the lead role.
In a recent interview with Mid-day, the Arjun Reddy star talked about shooting for the film amid Covid-19 pandemic. Liger faced a delay due to the lockdown and resumed after a 10 month break. “Before the pandemic, I was working such long hours that I used to look forward to pack-up so that I could go home and sleep. But [when we resumed work], I only wanted to be on set. On the first day, I wanted the shoot to go on. We filmed some portions in Mumbai, followed by a song in Goa,” he said.
“We will also have a schedule abroad. The location is uncertain yet; we were considering Europe initially, but now Abu Dhabi is an option,” Vijay added.
