Vijay Varma and Athiya Shetty amped up the style quotient at the opening of a new store at BKC’s Jio Centre on Tuesday, March 5. The launch event was a star-studded affair with the likes of Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Vijay Varma and Athiya Shetty among others in attendance.
Vijay looked dapper in a black jacket worn over a white shirt. He paired these with a pair of oversized, cargo-styled jeans. Vijay completed his look with red-tinted sunglasses.
Athiya Shetty, who is known to make heads turn with her on-point fashion game, looked gorgeous in an all-black ensemble. She wore a black pant-suit with gold detailing. Athiya opted for a brown handbag and statement earrings to complete her look.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay Varma is set to star in Netflix’s upcoming murder mystery, Murder Mubarak. Speaking about his character, Vijay said, “It is a little bit of a break from the bad guys I have played. I would like to say that. Although it’s a mystery, I won’t reveal much… But Akash Oberoi is a lawyer, his heart is broken, that’s all I know. He has a love-and-hate relationship with this Club, and he wants to run away from it. So, this is what I can say right now.”
Besides Vijay Varma, the murder mystery boasts of an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Karisma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar and Aashim Gulati. Apart from that, he will also be seen playing a pilot in IC814: The Khandahar Hijak.
As for Athiya, she was last seen in the 2019 film Motichoor Chaknachoor with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She made her debut in Bollywood in 2015 with the film Hero with Sooraj Pancholi as the male lead. Since then, she has starred in films like Mubarakan and Nawabzaade.
