Before the popular reality television show Bigg Boss, Salman Khan used to host a game show called Das Ka Dum. Sisters Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor made a joint appearance on one of the episodes. During their stint on the show, Salman recalled how Kareena used to have a poster of the actor in her bathroom but replaced it with Rahul Roy’s poster after the release of Aashiqui.
Salman said, “Let me tell you a story about Kareena’s betrayal. I was doing a film with Karisma, and she told me that her little sister Bebo has a poster in her bathroom of me. I was very flattered.”
“Two or three months after that, another film was released: Aashiqui. My poster wasn’t just removed, it was torn up, and replaced with a poster of Rahul Roy. And she actually came and gave me this update. She said, ‘Salman, now your poster is not there, now it’s Rahul Roy’,” he added.
Salman has worked with both the Kapoor sisters for various films and his chemistry with both actresses is greatly appreciated by fans. Salman and Karisma have worked together on films like Andaz Apna Apna, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Kahin Pyaar Naa Ho Jaaye and Jaagruti to name a few. As for Kareena, Salman has worked with her on Bodyguard, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna.
Meanwhile, Karisma will soon be seen in the film Murder Mubarak. Directed by the illustrious Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films, the film presents a remarkable book-to-screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s Club You To Death. It will be released on March 15. Kareena will soon be seen in The Crew with Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
As for Salman Khan, the audience is curious about what his next movie will be after Tiger 3. During the promotions for Tiger 3, Salman Khan said he’s working on a film called The Bull with Karan Johar. He even showed up at the start of the filming in Mumbai in December. The initial plan was to start filming in November 2023, with the aim of releasing it on the big screen over the Christmas weekend in 2024. However, the latest reports suggest that it has been pushed to later and is even facing budget issues.
