The veteran actor said that he gets extremely angry over abusive trolls on social media.

Mahesh Manjrekar-starrer Juna Furniture was released in theatres worldwide on April 10. It was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar himself and starred Sachin Khedkar, Upendra Limaye, Medha Manjrekar and Anusha Dandekar in prominent roles. The film revolves around the sorry state of parents who are often ignored by their daughters and sons after they become old. Mahesh Manjrekar has played the role of a father, who decided to sue his son in court after the death of his wife. His character is shown as bold and courageous in the film. Now coming back from reel to real, actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar deviates not an inch from his bold characters in film. Recently, he gave a befitting reply to trollers who abuse the families of celebrities.

Recently, actor Chinmay Mandlekar took to social media to complain about the abusive trolling his family has been facing for the past months due to the name of their son. Similarly, Mahesh Manjekar has also been trolled numerous times and has faced abusive comments on his family on social media.

During the promotion of his latest movie Juna Furniture, he expressed his views regarding these trollers and said that he gets extremely angry over trolling. “People say ignore it. But who gave you the right? Do I ever talk to you about my personal life? I make a movie. You see it. You pay for it,” said Mahesh Manjrekar while interacting with the media. He says that he is open to creative criticisms but abusing one’s family is not something he can tolerate. He said that the trollers have no right to speak ill about the mother, wife, son or daughter of the actor. He recalled the time when he reported a man for trolling his daughter on social media.

“I once read a horrible comment on my daughter. I found him and reported him. All this will end only when a law is passed against making offensive comments on social media,” said Mahesh Manjrekar. His daughter, Saiee Manjrekar made her debut in Bollywood with the movie Dabangg 3.
