Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, Aman Preet Singh, was arrested by Hyderabad Police in connection with a drug case on Monday, July 16. Aman tested positive for having consumed cocaine and will be presented before a court soon. This has led to a public interest in Aman’s life.

Who is Aman Preet Singh?

Aman Preet Singh was born on April 1, 1993, to Kulwinder Singh and Rajender Singh. He is Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, making him Jackky Bhagnani’s brother-in-law. Aman comes from a finally well-off family and often showcases his travel and adventures on his Instagram handle. He is also rumoured to be dating actress Seerat Kapoor as the duo are sometimes seen getting cosy in photos. However, they have neither confirmed nor denied these speculations.

Why was Rakul Preet Singh’s brother arrested?

His arrest followed a joint operation by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police, conducted under the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police. The Hyderabad Police confirmed Aman’s arrest in a press meet held on Monday. While five people were arrested in a case for drug peddling, Aman was among the 13 people arrested for consuming the drugs and testing positive for using cocaine. The police said that he will be produced before a court soon.

A police official said at the meet, “I will only comment on whom Aman is connected to once we investigate the case more. We need to check when his association began with the accused, who consist of some Indians and Nigerians. Some of them are repeat offenders. But we believe it might be for a year and a half. Aman tested positive for using cocaine. It is confirmed that he’s an actor, he did not say if it’s on Tollywood or elsewhere.”
