One such artist who has impressed with his exceptional cinematography skills is none other than Suneeth Halgeri. He made news after showcasing his exceptional cinematography skills in the recently-released Kannada film, Jog 101.
Jog 101 is a recent Kannada film starring Vijay Raghavendra, Tejaswini Shekhar, and Rajesh Nataranga in the lead roles. The film was directed by Vijay Kannadiga and received a decent response from the audience. One of the main highlights of the project was the cinematography of the film, done by Suneeth Halgeri. The film featured some of the most exquisite shots of Jog Falls in Karnataka. It is considered the second-highest plunge waterfall in India. The film showed the waterfall beautifully.
Suneeth was highly appreciated by the critics and the audience. The lead actor of the film, Vijay Raghavendra, was all praise for the cinematographer. In an interview, he said that working with Suneeth was very enjoyable for him. He added that he always remained calm on the set and made everyone around him very comfortable. Along with the speech, he also appreciated the scenes in the film. A lot of the credit for making the film visually appealing was given to the cinematographer.
Jog 101 was Suneeth Halgeri’s fourth film as a cinematographer. He started out his career with the 2018 film Ayogya. The film was directed by Mahesh Kumar and starred Sathish Neenasam, Rachita Ram, and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. In the film, Suneeth handled the light department as well. After that, he worked in two films in the same year, Samayada Hinde Savari and Gubbi Mele Bramhastra.
Suneeth started out as a light director, where used to plan light design for films. Gradually, he developed an interest in photography and became a cinematographer.
