Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The film has been getting immense love from the audience and several videos of SRK fans enjoying the Rajkumar Hirani directorial in theatres are also going viral on social media. On Tuesday, a new video surfaced on the microblogging site X in which SRK fans were seen creating a concert-like atmosphere inside a movie hall.

In the viral clip, fans were seen lighting electric candles and grooving inside the hall as the ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ song played on the big screen. Sharing the video on X (formerly known as Twitter), one of the users wrote, “Film nhi festival h (It is not a film but a festival)”. Watch it here:

Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s first collaboration. Granted the U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, Dunki is spread across a run time of 2 hours 41 minutes. The film follows the emotional journey of a group of friends who want to move abroad. The plot follows the exciting journey of those who choose an unconventional route known as the Donkey Flight, showing the difficulties they face on their way. The film has grossed Rs 157.22 crore at the global box office since its release on December 21.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that a special screening of Dunki will be held in Mumbai on December 28 for representatives of several countries, including the US, the UK, France, South Korea and Australia. The representatives of Belgium, Germany, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Turkey, and the Netherlands are also expected to attend the event.

“Dunki has arrived on the big screens and in no time has started to rule the hearts of the audience. With its compelling story, the film has brought a significant subject to the masses that speaks about the illegal immigrants who take the donkey route to go abroad… Amid its successful run in the theatres, a special screening will be held for the consulates of various nations on 28th December,” a member of Hirani’s team said in a statement.
