'Feels Good to be Back': Hardik Pandya Reacts After High-Profile Transfer to MI is Official
Hardik Pandya posted a throwback video after his big transfer to Mumbai Indians was officially confirmed where he said, 'It feels good to be back.'

The biggest trade in the history of the IPL is now official as it was confirmed that the Indian all-rounder and T20I skipper, Hardik Pandya made his move back to Mumbai Indians, the side where he began his journey in the IPL.

In a post on X, Hardik Pandya uploaded a video where the player had reacted to the high-profile transfer.

In order to accommodate Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians franchise decided to let go of the Australian all-rounder, Cameron Green to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a price of 17.5 crores.

Gujarat Titans are set to receive 15 crores to compensate for the transfer in an all-cash deal from the Mumbai Indians.

Hardik Pandya had made the move previously to the Gujarat Titans where he led the side to their first title in their first season itself followed by another finals appearance where his side where defeated bt MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings.

Hardik’s first stint with MI lasted from 2015 all the way to 2021 where he managed to win a total of five IPL titles of which four were won when he was with the Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians will definitely be bolstered by the addition of Hardik Pandya who is a proven player in the IPL with both ball and bat as Mumbai will aim to equal their arch-rivals, the Chennai Super Kings in terms of the number of titles. The rivals, CSK are the defending champions and now lead the charts in the number of titles with a total of six titles so far.

Last night, all the IPL sides had announced their list of retained players ahead of the 2024 IPL mini-auctions set to take place in December. The Royal Challengers Bangalore had released quite a few players to get their purse amount to over 40 crores. This enabled the side to be able to accommodate for the transfer of Cameron Green into the side.
