Shah Rukh Khan Drops Pic With David Beckham From His Private Bash; Lauds His 'Gentle' Nature

David Beckham was in Mumbai for the ICC World Cup semi-final match between India and New Zealand. He was on a three-day visit to India as part of his tour as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador. Before leaving India in the wee hours of Friday, November 17, the legendary footballer attended a private bash at superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s residence. On Thursday night, David Beckham was seen arriving at SRK’s Mannat in Mumbai when he was spotted by the paparazzi and fans. Now Shah Rukh Khan has shared a candid picture with the legendary footballer, presumably from the bash.

The Jawan actor shared a picture on his X(formerly Twitter) handle that featured Shah Rukh Khan and David Beckham standing beside each other, posing for the shutterbugs with smiles on their faces. While SRK sported a black t-shirt and light blue denim jeans, David Beckham looked dapper in a light brown t-shirt and black striped suit.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Last nite with an icon…and an absolute gentleman. Have always been a big admirer but meeting him and seeing how he is with kids made me realise that the only thing that out does his football is his kindness and his gentle nature. My love to your family. Be well and happy my friend and get some sleep…. #DavidBeckham.”

Prior to this, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja also hosted a star-studded grand welcome party for former English footballer. The party was attended by several Bollywood celebrities including Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Karisma Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Farhan Akhtar and more. The star-studded event also saw the presence of Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar, and other notable personalities from the entertainment industry.
