In the latest episode of Shark Tank India 3, The Rage Room introduced their anger management solution. The Sharks looked surprised as the pitcher explained the concept. When asked if they also experience such anger, Anupam joked, “Jisko aata tha woh gaya (The short-tempered one has left).” Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar burst out laughing but Anupam quickly apologised. The pitcher, Pusarla Venkat Suraj from Hyderabad, then went on to request Rs 20 lakh for a 30% equity stake.
The pitcher admits to dealing with anger issues, often breaking things, and seeking therapy, even going through his 30th phone. Aman and Peyush decide to try out the rage room and Anupam says “You guys need to have it out anyways.”
Aman jokes that after the experience his anger has only aggravated. The pitcher say that it’s pent up anger that he probably had inside. Aman responds, “Woh bhi sahi hai.” Namita goes on to say, “I will give you a serious feedback. Mental health globally is a serious issue. I am of firm belief that yoga, pranayam and meditation should be practised or go for counselling. You have to be responsible that we don’t misguide people. You can promote this as entertainment but don’t promote it as a solution to anger issues.”
