CBSE Class 9 and 11 exam registration data must be submitted without a late fee on the board's website cbse.gov.in by October 25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension of the registration data submission deadline for Class 9 and Class 11 students. As per the circular issued on October 6, the new deadline for submitting CBSE Class 9 and 11 registration data on the board’s website cbse.gov.in is now October 25, and no late fee will be charged until this date. For students who require more time and choose to submit their fees with a late fee, the last date to submit the registration form is from October 26 to October 29.

“Considering various representations received from schools, the schedule for submission for submission of registration data of Class IX, XI, 2023-2024 has been extended as follows,” read the official circular published by CBSE. Students can check the official notification released by the board through the official website, cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE mentioned the importance of not only following the registration schedule but also ensuring that the data added by the students is correct. “Thereafter, CBSE has issued 4 reminders dated August 17, September 6, September 20, and September 26 wherein schools were reminded to complete their data and correctly fill the details of the students and subjects in the LOC. Thereafter, it was also mentioned that the subject correction after submission of LOC will not be entertained in any manner,” CBSE added.

Schools were previously advised by the board to maintain accurate and up-to-date data in readiness for the registration process. It’s essential to highlight that only candidates whose names are submitted through the online registration data submission process will be granted eligibility to participate in the Class 10 and 12 board examinations during the academic session 2024-25.

The registration fee for Indian students appearing for Class 9 and Class 11 board examinations is Rs 300. On the other hand, international students are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 for Class 9 and Rs 600 for Class 11. In case of late registration, Indian students will incur a late fee of Rs 2,300, while international students will be charged late fees of Rs 2,500 for Class 9 and Rs 2,600 for Class 11.
