IGNOU July 2023 Session Registration Deadline Extended to October 10

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the July 2023 session admission to October 10. Interested and eligible candidates may complete their registration for IGNOU Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes on the official websites which are ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.

“The last date for “Fresh Admission for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode except certificate programmes for the July 2023 session has been extended again till 10th October 2023,” posted IGNOU on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter). Earlier, the last date to apply for the July session was set at September 30.

IGNOU July Admission 2023: Documents Required to Apply

It’s essential for applicants to possess specific documents as prerequisites for the online form submission. These documents include

— a photograph (with a file size of under 100 KB),

— a signature (also under 100 KB), a copy of pertinent educational attainment (under 200 KB),

— a potential experience certificate copy (if applicable, under 200 KB), and

— a category certificate copy in cases of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Other Backward Caste status (again under 200 KB).

STEP 3: Fill in the form

STEP 4: Pay the fees, submit

STEP 5: Download and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

The process of the IGNOU July 2023 re-registration began on May 8, through the Samarth portal. Students have the opportunity to enroll online for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes, as well as postgraduate certificate (PG certificate), postgraduate diploma (PGD), certificate, and diploma programs for the July 2023 session.
