Intelligence Bureau’s Officer Posts Registrations Underway For 995 Vacancies, How to Apply

The Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs has released the notification for IB ACIO Recruitment 2023 on November 21, inviting applications for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II Executive. Candidates eligible to apply may register by visiting the Union Home Ministry’s website at mha.gov.in. It is to be noted that the registration process commenced on November 25 and will run till December 15.

The Union Home Ministry’s website read, “Candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form for IB. Candidates must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is completed.”

As per the official notification, the IB ACIO recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 995 posts in the department.

The Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive vacancies are divided category-wise as follows:

Unreserved: 377

Economically Weaker Section: 129

Other Backward Class: 222

Scheduled Caste: 134

Scheduled Tribe: 133

IB ACIO Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: As per the IB ACIO Recruitment 2023 notification, candidates must possess a graduate degree or equivalent from a recognised university to qualify for the positions.

Age Limit: Candidates have to be between the age cap of 18 to 27 years of age to be eligible for Officer Grade–II/Executive posts.

IB ACIO Recruitment 2023: Steps to Apply

Step 1. Candidates need to log into the official website of the Union Home Ministry at www.mha.gov.in.

Step 2. Then, look for “Online Applications for the Posts of ACIO Grade II/Executive in IB” on the homepage.

Step 3. Access the notification PDF and copy the link available there.

Step 4. Paste it into the browser and candidates will be redirected to a new page for registration.

Step 5. Register yourself by entering the required details.

Step 6. Now, fill in the application form with the essential information asked

Step 7. Complete the payment process and click on submit.

Step 8. Once done, download and print a hard copy of the application for future reference.

IB ACIO Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

Candidates applying for the post must pay an application fee of Rs 450 at the time of registration. However, male candidates from Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories need to pay Rs 550.
