Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister vows to create jobs in state.
Srinagar: National Conference patron and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah Friday filed nomination papers for the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat.
Talking to mediapersons later, Abdullah said he would work for a larger economic, tourism and employment package for the people of the state.
Asked about the decision of his sister, Khalida Shah of the Awami National Conference, to contest against him, Abdullah said: "I won't comment on her decision as she is my sister and I have the conscience of a brother not to make comments in this regard."
