65. Bhilai Nagar is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Durg Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bhilai Nagar falls in Durg district and Central region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a urban seat.

There are a total of 1,56,660 voters in the seat, which includes 79,817 male voters, and 76,838 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Bhilai Nagar recorded a voter turnout of 66.97%. In 2013 the turnout was 64.06%, and in 2008 it was 62.91%.

In 2013, Prem Prakash Pandey of BJP won the seat by a margin of 17,106 votes (16.09%). Prem Prakash Pandey secured 52.35% of the total votes polled.
