New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party has lodged a police complaint over an allegedly sexist remark made by Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas against Kiran Bedi.
The party will also be filing a complaint with the Election Commission.
The offensive remark was made by AAP leader Kumar Vishwas at a rally in which Arvind Kejriwal was also present. The BJP will be filing a complaint against Kejriwal too.
BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi expressed anguish over Kumar's remark, she tweeted, "Absolutely derogatory sexist remarks, illegal photoshopped images communicating wrong messaging-it is this unethical, toxic, perverse and uncivil practices that we need to eliminate from our system. What kind of security and dignity can women expect from AAP's leadership that itself has blatant sexist and perverse mindsets?"
