BSP to contest polls on its own in Karnataka
BSP's State President made the announcement on Thursday.

Gulbarga: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will contest all the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka on its own, Marasandra Muniappa, President of the state unit BSP said on Thursday.

Talking to reporters here, he said BSP would not have poll alliance with any political party.

He expressed hope that the party would win at least four to five seats in the state in the coming election.

The party has decided to give nominations to four Brahmins, one Christian, four Muslims and more than six SC/ST candidates, he said, adding general candidates would be fielded from Tumkur and Bangalore rural.
