A local court on Friday granted a four-day custody of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and two others, arrested in a 'cash-for-vote' case, to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).

Hyderabad: A local court on Friday granted a four-day custody of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and two others, arrested in a 'cash-for-vote' case, to the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).

The court, while allowing the petition filed by the anti-graft agency, has instructed the police to question the accused in the presence of lawyers between 9 am and 5 pm from on Saturday.

On Sunday, the ACB had arrested Revanth for allegedly trying to bribe nominated legislator Elvis Stephenson to vote for the TDP nominee in Telangana Legislative Council polls.

Besides Revanth, the ACB will also be questioning Sebastian Harry and Uday Simha who were also arrested.

Based on a complaint by Stephenson, ACB officials held Revanth and two others after they were caught allegedly handing over Rs 50 lakh as bribe to the nominated MLA.
