Election process begins in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The process of filing nominations for the elections to the 140-member Kerala assembly began on Saturday.

According to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, the process started with the issuance of election notification for the polls to be held on April 13.

Candidates can file nominations till March 26 from 11 am to 3 pm on all days except public holidays.

The scrutiny will take place on March 28 and the last date for withdrawal is March 30.
