New Delhi: Describing the JD(U) as a “party of criminals,” the RJD lashed out against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for criticising the UPA government for having scant respect for the state's development.
Newly appointed RJD spokesman and MLA, Rajak said the JD(U) headed by Kumar and its leaders like Prabhunath Singh, against whom over a dozen criminals cases were pending, had charged RJD ministers at the Centre of giving "incorrect figures to malign the image of the NDA government in Bihar".
Rajak alleged Bihar could not develop under the NDA as "criminals and people having a dubious background have taken over the reins of government".
Rajak said RJD President Lalu Prasad has taken lots of initiatives and sanctioned a number of railway projects for Bihar, including a coach factory at Harnaut, the home district of Kumar.
