Abhishek Singhvi says everything will be done according to what the court decides.
New Delhi: The Congress on Monday steered clear on the demands for using for public good the wealth found at the centuries-old Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple, saying it was not an issue for a political party to react.
"It is not an issue for a political party to react. It is a subjudice issue and everything will be done according to what the court decides," AICC spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
He was responding to a query on Congress' line on what should be done with the temple treasure.
The temple, located in Thiruvananthapuram, shot into the limelight with the unearthing of a staggering wealth including idols engraved with precious stones, jewels, heaps of gold and silver coins, gold platters and lamps from its
cellars.
