He said that the blocks were allocated by the state government and the Opposition wanted the blocks to be de-allocated so that the firms could go to court and get relief.

11:05 am: The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 12 noon after protests by MPs demanding Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's resignation over the CAG report on coal blocks allocation.
The Rajya Sabha Chairperson said that protests in the House will not be televised, following which the broadcast was stopped.
The Monsoon session of parliament will end on September 8 and both the Houses have been stalled for over two weeks with the Opposition MPs demanding the Prime Minister's resignation.
On Monday, three bills were passed in the din in the Lok Sabha, following which the ruckus over coal blocks allocation continued and the House was adjourned till Tuesday.
