93. Murwara is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Khajuraho Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Murwara falls in Katni district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a semi-urban seat.

In 2013, Sandip Shriprasad Jaiswal of BJP won the seat by a margin of 47,138 votes (32.99%). Sandip Shriprasad Jaiswal secured 61.16% of the total votes polled.
