New Delhi: Union Minister and Nationalist Congress Party leader Praful Patel on Saturday denied reports of him joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. There were reports in the media that Patel may join the saffron party.
Earlier, Patel had opposed the government's move to name a judge in BJP' prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi snooping case ahead of May 16. "The NCP is not for probe panel at this juncture as results are only 10 days away," he said.
The BJP had welcomed UPA's key ally NCP's opposition to the government's move of naming a judge in Narendra Modi snooping case 'This is a clear reflection of UPA's vendetta politics. I welcome the move of the ally of the UPA,' said BJP leader MJ Akbar.
