On the last day of filing nominations for the seventh phase of 2014 Lok Sabha Election a number of independent candidates reached the District Election Officer's office to file their nominations. Many of the candidates who filed nominations may not win the electoral fight but will always be remembered for their out of the box attire. Among such bizarre candidates was Narendra Trivedi, who was dressed up as a groom. He was confident of his victory and said he would organise a marriage procession after victory. Another such candidate who was supposedly a god Shani devotee was dressed up in complete black with about half a dozen ritual threads to avoid any barrier on his way to victory. A huge crowd gathered near the office premises to have a look at these candidates.
