AR Rahman Calls Aadujeevitham Malayalam Cinema’s ‘Lawrence Of Arabia’ At Website Launch Event
An official website for the film was launched recently, a rarity in Malayalam cinema.

Director Blessy’s Malayalam film Aadujeevitham is slated for release on March 28. With only a month to go before fans watch the film, the crew planned something unique to tease them with. An official website for the film was launched recently, a rarity in Malayalam cinema. Director Blessy, at the website launch event, said the purpose of the website was for people from all corners of the world to see the dedication of the cast and crew towards the completion of Aadujeevitham.

According to Blessy, one unique feature of the website is that the illumination of the Masara and the desert it displays varies depending on when you view it. They look different in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. AR Rahman, who marked a comeback to Malayalam cinema with Aadujeevitham, launched the website for the film. The two Malayalam films that AR Rahman worked on earlier are Yoddha (1992) film starring Mohanlal, and Malayankunju (2022).

Aadujeevitham had numerous realities to compose for, hence Rahman referred to it as a music composer’s movie. “Working with Blessy, Prithviraj, and Benyamin is an honour for me. They have poured their hearts into the movie. Observing them confirms my belief in films. Each of them has poured their hearts into the film. And it strengthens my belief in films when I look at them. A ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ has been created in Malayalam by Mr Blessy and his crew. I sincerely hope you will support us and appreciate this movie”, Rahman said.

Directed by Blessy, Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the lead role of Najeeb in the film based on Benjamin’s novel Aadujeevitham, which is still one of the bestsellers in Malayalam The filming of the Malayalam film took seven arduous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic interfering with the filming schedule, which was planned across multiple nations. The majority of the movie was filmed in Jordan. Production wrapped up in July of last year.
