For those acquainted with dating apps, meeting a diverse range of individuals is par for the course. These platforms introduce us to people we may never have crossed paths with otherwise. Among the multitude of profiles, finding a true partner has become increasingly tough. Rare, but not impossible because this girl had a “sweet” experience on the dating application.
On the microblogging site X (previously Twitter), a woman shared her story about how her Bumble connection—an orthopaedic specialist—went above and beyond her expectations when she spoke of experiencing severe shoulder and neck pain. Along with prescribing medication to ease her suffering, he also gave her some insightful advice on how to avoid similar instances in the future.
The prescription says “Take tab Mobizox 1-0-0 x 7 days (after food). Tab Pan-40 mg 1-0-0 x 7 days (before food).” Additionally, he recommended “Ointment Flexabenz” for her, telling her to apply it in a single layer rather than rubbing it in.
“Apply hot packs too. Maintain posture care,” he further said.
Sharing the screenshot of this conversation, the woman wrote, “Matched with an Ortho doctor on Bumble and randomly told him that I am experiencing neck and shoulder pain. He asked me some questions around it and then wrote me a prescription, this is so sweet.”

In other Bumble news, a man from Delhi says he changed his height on the app to around 6 feet and 2 inches, and after doing so, he saw a noticeable rise in his Bumble matches. In a post on the microblogging site, X user revealed the specifics of his social experiment.
As a joke, he claimed to have adjusted his height to 190 cm on Bumble, which led to nine matches in a single day. He said that nothing else in his profile had been altered.
“I’ve realised, you’re not ugly, you’re not poor, you’re not unfunny, you’re just short,” he said, adding that he has now changed it back to his actual height.

Bumble is an online dating app that allows users to view the profiles of other users and ‘swipe right’ to signal their interest. The software identifies a match when two users ‘swipe right’ on each other’s profiles, allowing the users to initiate a chat.
