Dev Mohan, known for his roles in Shaakuntalam and Sufiyum Sujatayum, is poised to challenge his established image with the upcoming film Parakramam. In a brief conversation with a media portal, Dev shared insights into his decision to take on Pulli, working alongside Indrans, and the lessons gained from his experiences.
“In Parakramam, I portray a 19-year-old character, marking a departure from my previous roles. The film unfolds as a coming-of-age story centred around a group of friends, with approximately 90% of the narrative occurring between the ages of 18 and 19. My appearance in the movie is entirely distinct from my previous works, adding a new dimension to the character”, said Dev Mohan.
“Currently working on my seventh film, Parakramam, each project has been a learning experience for me. Despite lacking a theatre background, I’ve gained insights and understanding with each film. Reflecting on my journey, I recognize the evolution in my perspective since my debut, and this growth aids me in immersing myself in the character’s space”, he added.
