New Delhi: Apple's executive vice president of worldwide marketing, Phil Schiller cracked open a Twitter discussion in which he has insisted everyone on this planet has been saying the company's product names all wrong.
In the Twitter conversation, Schiller explains that 'One need never pluralise Apple product names. Ex: Mr. Evans used two iPad Pro devices' and not iPads or iPad Pros.
He went on to explain how it is proper to use 'devices' at the end of Macintosh or simply say 'I have 3 Macintosh'. Owning those many Macintosh or Macintosh computers might spark another debate about the affordability of premium Apple products but for now, Schiller has just proved we have been wrong all our lives.
@parks @Gartenberg @BenedictEvans @stevesi @reneritchie 2. It would be proper to say "I have 3 Macintosh" or "I have 3 Macintosh computers"— Philip Schiller (@pschiller) April 29, 2016
Meanwhile, some were quick to point out that Apple's own press release for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus contained the word 'iPhones' and not iPhone phones.

Unlearning or reconditioning is more difficult than learning in the first place. For now, let us 'Think Different' and just start by practicing to say, 'If it is not an iPhone, it is an iPhone phone.'
