Dyson OnTrac Headphones Launched In India: Price, Features

Dyson has launched the OnTrac headphones in India, marking the company’s first audio-only headphones. These premium headphones, which were initially unveiled globally in July 2024, offer over 2,000 customisable options for the outer caps and ear cushions, claims to have best-in-class noise cancellation, and up to 55 hours of playback time.

Dyson says that the OnTrac headphones' interchangeable ear cushions are designed not only to offer high-quality audio but also to provide enhanced customisation options.

Dyson OnTrac headphones have launched in India priced at Rs 44,900 and will be available from the official Dyson website or get a demo of the product at various Dyson stores in the country.

Dyson OnTrac Features

According to Dyson, the new OnTrac headphones are equipped with advanced noise cancellation technology, focusing on delivering high-quality sound and comfort. The headphones also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, which uses eight microphones to analyse environmental sounds 3,84,000 times per second, reducing unwanted noise by up to 40 decibels (dB). The internal design and materials further enhance the acoustic seal, improving sound isolation for a more immersive listening experience.

The Dyson OnTrac comes equipped with 40mm neodymium drivers that can reproduce frequencies ranging from 6 Hz to 21,000 Hz. Dyson claims that the speaker housing is angled 13 degrees towards the ear, ensuring a more direct listening experience.

The OnTrac headphones boast a battery life of up to 55 hours, even with ANC activated. Soft micro fibre ear cushions enhance comfort, while multi-pivot gimbal arms and thoughtful battery placement within the headband ensure even weight distribution.

The OnTrac headphone stands out with its customisable design, offering over 2,000 options for the exterior caps and ear cushions. Additionally, the MyDyson app provides real-time sound tracking and EQ adjustments, along with features like Head Detect, which automatically pauses playback when the headphones are removed. These features allow the Dyson OnTrac headphones to adapt to different listening environments and user preferences, while maintaining a simple and functional design.
