The Android version of the Mi Fit app refused to pair with the Mi Band and also demonstrated erratic behaviour.

New Delhi: IBNLive had reported yesterday about some major issues with the Xiaomi Mi Band's companion app - the Mi Fit.

The Android version of the app refused to pair with the device and also demonstrated erratic behaviour. The iOS app was, however, functioning without any hiccups.

Speaking to IBNLive, Xiaomi representatives had acknowledged that there was indeed something wrong and had promised an early fix. Xiaomi has now rolled out an update that takes care of the bugs.

The Xiaomi Mi Fitness band goes on sale in India at a price of Rs 999. The Mi Band was first unveiled along with the Xiaomi Mi 4.

The Mi Band monitors your fitness and tracks your sleep. It features a Bluetooth chip and accelerometer. The Mi Band can be powered for 30 days on one charge, claims Xiaomi.

It can also double up as an alarm clock. You can even pair it to unlock your phone without a password.

What's your reaction?
