The Xiaomi Redmi 4A has been just launched in India and the first flash sale will take place on March 23 at 12PM on both Amazon.in and Mi.com. For a price of Rs 5,999, Xiaomi has packed enough fire power to take on the sub-Rs 7,000 smartphone market.
The Reliance Jio compatible smartphone (VoLTE support) comes with a metal unibody design and runs an older Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 interface.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is powered by a 64-bit 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with support for a microSD card. Also read: Xiaomi Redmi 4A With 4G VoLTE Support Launched at Rs 5,999
The smartphone offers a 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with LED Flash along with a 5MP front camera. Xiaomi, however, hasn’t provided a fingerprint sensor on the Redmi 4A and the device is backed by a 3,120mAh battery.
