Damoh Collector Takes Hands-on Approach To Improve Government School
Damoh district collector, Shudhir Kumar Kochar, is engaged in the campaign to improve the education system of government schools of the district.

The Damoh district administration of Madhya Pradesh has realised to improve the standard of education in government schools. The reason behind this is said to be the cases of paper leaks that have come to light in the last two years. After this, the district administration has suspended more than two dozen teachers. Therefore, now Damoh Collector Shudhir Kumar Kochar is engaged in the campaign to improve the education system of government schools in the district. He is visiting schools and is also said to be taking classes for children.

According to reports, Damoh Collector Shudhir Kumar Koch reached three different schools in the Patharia area. He impersonated as a teacher at Maharani Lakshmi Bai School. The special thing about this campaign by DM is that he is visiting the schools without informing anyone. After visiting there, he explored the classrooms, interacted with the students, picked up the children’s books and started teaching. A lot of discussions are taking place in the district regarding this DM campaign.

Meanwhile, according to a recent report, on Thursday, May 9, DM was at the MLB school, where he was said to be teaching girl students in a class. During this, the DM wrote a line in English on the blackboard that read, ‘Do you love yourself and your family? If yes, then stay away from drugs.’ After this, the DM asked the children to translate this sentence into Hindi. One by one, some female students stood up, but when no one gave the correct answer, the DM explained its meaning. He said, ‘Do you love yourself and your family? If yes, then stay away from drugs. ‘ The DM left the class after advising the children to stay away from drugs.

Later, DM Shudhir Kumar warned the employees of the Education Department that if irregularities are found in any government schools during his voluntary inspection, it will not be right.

Reports suggest that, till now, about 13 teachers have been suspended. However, Damoh district is said to be in the last position regarding the recently released MP Board class 10th and 12th exam results. As per reports from schools whose examination results used to be 90 to 95 per cent, their result this year is less than 10 per cent.
